Flying a heavy metal band on a multi-stop Canadian tour
In April 2022, an English heavy metal band’s tour manager asked us to help arrange a series charter for an upcoming tour of Canada. With the band’s busy tour schedule often involving several stops a day, chartering a private jet ensured they reached each location quickly and conveniently while minimising time spent at airports.
Urgently needed for a series of life-saving transplant operations in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, the organs had to reach their recipients as quickly as possible once they’d been removed from the donors. We worked around the clock to coordinate this complex charter and ensure the operations went ahead on time.
Our Solution
Route: Halifax > Quebec City > Dorval > Hamilton
Aircraft: Learjet 45
We needed a light or midsize jet for this series charter, which comprised several short hops between different Canadian cities. Within two hours of receiving the request, we’d sourced an eight-seat Learjet 45 with ample room for the group of seven passengers. The tour ran smoothly throughout and our team was available around the clock to answer any queries and accommodate any last-minute schedule changes.
