The Citation VII is the high-end version of the Citation VI which, itself, was a development of the Citation III. It uses improved engines to increase cruise speed and take-off performance, as well as a more comfortable cabin and increased soundproofing. It became the mainstay of the Citation line for several years and continues to be widely used in the charter market.
