Flying an investor to Malaysia for a day
In April 2022, a security agency handling a hedge fund owner’s visit to Singapore asked us to arrange a private jet charter for a day-trip to Malaysia.
With both destinations requiring pre-departure Covid-19 tests that would eat into the client’s short time on the ground, we needed to negotiate the logistics to ensure both flights could go ahead with minimal disruption to their itinerary.
Our Solution
Route: Seletar > Penang > Seletar
Aircraft: Cessna Citation Excel
We sourced a recently refurbished Cessna Citation Excel that could fly the three passengers quickly and comfortably. The client originally planned to fly from Changi, but we suggested the more cost-effective alternative of using Singapore’s main private jet airport in Seletar.
As the group would only be in Penang for six hours before flying back to Singapore, we sought assurance from the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority that their outbound pre-departure Covid-19 tests would also be valid for the return flight. This meant the client didn’t need to waste time on the ground taking a second test.
