We were tasked with expediting the delivery of six rolls of seat fabric from the United States to an automotive factory in Mexico.

Delivering automotive parts just in time

A freight forwarder needed our help moving six rolls of seat fabric from South Carolina to an automotive supplier’s factory in Mexico. With the parts needed by a specific time in order to prevent a line shutdown, it was all hands on deck to get it moving fast.

Our Solution

Route: Greenville > El Paso > Mexico

Aircraft: Beechcraft 1900

We decided the most efficient solution was to fly the consignment to Texas before trucking it across the border to its final destination.

Knowing the cargo needed to cross the border before it closed for the day, we sourced a turboprop that could reposition to the airport for an immediate departure.

The cargo was loaded by forklift and flown to Texas, where a vehicle was waiting to drive it to the factory. It arrived in good time, avoiding a costly shutdown for the end customer.
